Nelson Mandela
Happy Nelson Mandela Day, peps!
On the occasion of his 92nd (!!) birthday people especially in Joburg celebrate that day in the way that they get involved in a social project or the like for at least 67 minutes (one minute for every year Mandela was politically active).
If I only knew that before... I think it´s a great idea to do so here in Germany! Mandela would definitely be a person to respect and honor for his achievements!

Weird cultures No.1
Whatte efff? Just read something in an article about people living in a province in Congo, they´re called Mangbetu!
The outstanding thing about them is the shape of their heads:

As an infant you get your head wrapped tightly so that you look like a freaking alien. Ok, it´s not our culture and I think this has something to do with kudos and nobleness. I try to consider that and respect it. But I hardly believe that this procedure doesn´t effect anything going on in your head and brain...
